Greetings Everyone,

“The best way to predict the future is to implement it.” Following the buzzing seminars on pertinent technical topics, our club hosted a week-long coding camp in the IT building from December 6–12 for freshly admitted students. Its purpose has been to acquaint students with coding and graphic designing and provide the foundation for their future careers.

Over 400 pupils participated in a variety of sessions offered by the camp. Along with programming languages like C++, Java, and Python, It also has Graphic Designing classes using Adobe Illustrator. Our final and pre-final year seniors led the lessons while paying close attention.

The session for C++ was held under the guidance of Prof.Vikash Kumar Singh (CSE). The session for JAVA was held under the guidance of Prof.Deepak Kumar(CSE). The session for Python was held under the guidance of Prof.Bhawesh Kumar(CSE). The session for Graphic design was held under the guidance of Prof.Dinesh Kumar Prabhakar(IT).

In addition, the young ones got chance to speak with the seniors and ask them any questions they might have had. This was very fruitful to them in getting a path ahead, as in programming; the hard part isn’t solving problems but deciding what problems to solve.

Also, a test was conducted on the final day to check the understanding level of students. The successful organization of the event tends to end after the attendance of our esteemed director Dr. D.K. Singh accompanied by the presence of our honorable head of the CSE department, Dr. S.C. Dutta and Prof. Incharge of HnCC , Mr. Dinesh Kumar Prabhakar mentors and inspires the students on their path.

Team HnCC wishes the best for the students in their future educational endeavors and expresses appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this campaign. And always remember, as Rich Hickey rightly points out, “Programming is not about typing, it’s about thinking.”
